How to Update Copyright Notice in Magento 2

A copyright notice is a short text which is used to create awareness for the fact that all the work on your website has not been copied from anywhere else, and it is protected by copyright laws. All websites have a copyright notice. The principle is the same for an ecommerce store, i.e. it needs to have a copyright notice that assures its users that its content is protected by copyright laws.
When we discuss ecommerce stores, you cannot neglect Magento 2 due to its popularity and a huge number of useful features it offers. Keeping that in mind, I will teach you how to update a Copyright notice in Magento 2.
Magento 2 provides an easy way to edit a copyright notice, you can easily update it through the admin panel of your store.
Let’s Start!
Open the admin panel of your Magento 2 store and then go to CONTENT > Configuration

Then click on Edit
where you want to update copyright notice:
Now unfold the Footer
section and in the Copyright
field you can update its text:
All done, just click on Save Configuration from top of the page:
Launch your store and you will see that the copyright text is updated in your Magento 2 store:
